Lehigh Acres

Woods and Trail

If you are seeking a touch of country in a city, your search ends here. Located just east of Ft. Myers, Lehigh Acres was, until the 1950s, populated with large farms and cattle ranches. In 1951, Lee Ratner purchased approximately 100 square miles of what is now known as Lehigh Acres, platting the area into quarter-acre and half-acre lots.

With miles of freshwater canals for kayaking or canoeing and an abundance of hiking and biking trails to explore, Lehigh offers something to suit almost any lifestyle. Its location just east of I-75 makes Lehigh a convenient and short drive to Ft. Myers and Cape Coral.

In about 30 minutes, you can find yourself walking, boating, sunning, or witnessing incredible sunsets on one of the finest gulf beaches in Southwest Florida.
