North Captiva is a barrier island located off the coast of Fort Myers Florida and is accessible only by boat. There are no cars on the island, only golf carts. The logistical challenges of getting material and labor to the job site are many. Triad is experienced in working on all the barrier islands and can handle all of the logistical challenges of working in these areas.
This beach house was built in the early 90's by the current owner's. It survived Hurricane Charley with minor damage. The owner's were looking to update the finishes and improve the layout and functionality of some of the rooms including the kitchen and master bath.
Improvements included a newly designed, more functional modern kitchen with island. To include custom design and layout, stained and glazed solid alder cabinets, granite tops, mosaic glass backsplash, new stainless steel modern appliances including an induction cooktop and microwave drawer. All of the custom cabinetry was designed, built and installed by Triad Group in their custom cabinet shop. The kitchen/great room also received all new 5 1/4" baseboards, new engineered wood flooring, and a new paint job.
The master bath, as originally designed, was totally non functional. Triad took the existing space and designed a new layout to make the area functional, comfortable and modern. The finishes include new stained and glazed solid alder cabinets, granite tops, and new wall and floor tile. The two guest baths in the home also received new 36" high vanities, granite tops, and rectangular under mount sinks.
