PRESIDENT - Michael Peters is a Chicago native and is a graduate of Drake University (BS Business Administration) and
Northwestern University (BS Civil Engineering). In 1975 he moved to Florida and started
working in the construction industry. Working and learning the
business from the ground up he gained experience in every trade and
became one of the state's youngest certified general contractors. In
1977 Mike founded DMI, Inc., our sister company, a very successful
entry-level home builder that has built thousands of homes in Southwest
Florida over the past 32 years. In 1981, sensing a need for an
experienced general contractor, with a "hands-on" approach, in
commercial construction and custom residential he founded The Triad
Group. Since 1981 The Triad Group has constructed a wide
variety of commercial projects including restaurants, churches,
condominiums, apartment complexes, shopping centers, professional
office space and many custom high end residences. Mike's education
along with his many years of "hands-on" experience in the Florida
Construction Industry make him a remarkably qualified general
contractor.
VICE PRESIDENT - Marla J. Peters is not technically a Florida native, but has lived in Ft. Myers since 1955. She has seen Southwest Florida explode from sleepy small towns to the bustling and fast growing metropolitan area it has become. Marla attended public schools in the area and is a graduate of Edison Community College and the University of South Florida (BA Business Administration). Marla is a Florida Certified Public Accountant and a Florida State Certified Building Contractor. After practicing public accounting and serving as an executive in a construction supply business for nearly 20 years, she joined The Triad Group as its VP. Marla's education and 20 plus years experience in the industry have provided her with the knowledge and experience to manage a successful construction business like The Triad Group.
PROJECT MANAGER - Brian Peters was born and raised in Ft. Myers. He was educated in local public and private schools graduating from Bishop Verot High School in 1994. Brian started his career in the construction industry at the young age of 14 working summers with his father, Mike Peters, learning as much about every trade as possible. Brian has over 17 years experience and is an extremely talented master carpenter and project manager.
PROJECT MANAGER - Brett Peters was born and raised in Ft. Myers and is a graduate of Bishop Verot High School. After Brett graduated high school in 1999 he attended Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas on a football scholarship. After college Brett decided to move back to Ft. Myers and join his family in the construction business. Since joining the business Brett has worked in the field gaining a wide variety of experience in every trade and in field management.
PROJECT COORDINATOR - Kristy Flint was born and raised in Ft. Myers and is also a graduate of Bishop Verot High School. In 2000 she went to High Point University in High Point, NC on a volleyball scholarship to study International Business. After her second year at High Point, Kristy decided to change her major to Building Construction and was accepted to the University of Florida's Rinker School of Building Construction. She graduated with her Bachelors degree in Building Construction in 2005 and moved home to join her family in the construction business. Kristy recently passed the Florida State General Contractors Exam and is currently in the process of receiving her license.

Most of our employees have been with us at least 10 years and some since the company was founded in 1981.
